Attracting Investments and Business Opportunities through Corporate Sustainability for SMEs and Startups


Global Compact Network Singapore partnered with National Trades Union Congress (NTUC) U Associate in organising a special 2-hour CEO Roundtable targeted at SMEs and Startups on 28 August 2017. The objective of this roundtable is to better understand the challenges that SMEs and Startups facedd in adopting corporate sustainability and how we can assist them in their corporate sustainability journey.

There was a panel of discussion of why corporate sustainabiity is important and it benefits businesses.  Participants then further discussed on the challenges they faced and what would encourage them to adopt corporate sustainabiity. This special roundtable was kept small to allow more meaningful and in-depth discussion among the participants and panelists. A total of 11 C-suites and decision makers of SMEs and Startups attend the event.
